Profile:
Working as an art teacher for all of my post-collegiate life, I have taught a wide variety of techniques and histories. This knowledge base informs my artwork in countless ways. At times, it leads my work down endless paths of experimentation. Other times it leads to sustained investigations into specific themes and techniques. The common thread in my work is the fascination with the constant state of flux that dominates the cyclical nature of being. My work tends to be driven by mark-making, expressionist applications, rich textures, and a longing to better understand the world around me.
